Presented here is the second studio album by the unquestionable supergroup of Les Claypool and Sean Lennon under their Claypool Lennon Delirium handle. More modern-day psychedelia with a not-so-subtle hint of aggression and rage, South of Reality carries the well-lit torch that 2016’s Monolith of Phobos ignited, and shows clear signs that this monster collaboration is nowhere near its resolution, which, for fans of both members, like myself, is a hopeful and welcoming sign that the future is indeed bright, and potentially blinding.
